| When John and his first wife Mona were married in Jul 1959 he was a student living in Chelmsford, Mass. and she was a teacher living in Westford. When their daughter Patrice was born a year later in Jul 1960 John was an electronic development technician and they were living in Boston Road in Westford. By the time daughter Suzanne came along in Sep 1962 they had moved to Gassett Road in Nabnasset, Mass., which is a section of Westford. They were still there a year later when daughter Cynthia was born. John was an electronic technician at that time.
When his mother died in Sep 1994 John was the informant on her death certificate and was living at 3 Gassett Road in Westford. He was still there when Mona died a month later. |

(St. Onge) Strom. Father of Patrice M. Morrill and her husband Gerard of Pepperell, Suzanne T. Leduc and her husband John F. of Hudson, NH, and Cynthia J. Currier and her husband David D. of Swanzey, NH. Grandfather of six. Brother of Carla A. Strom of Tewksbury and the late Nancy Maguire. Step-father of William Hauser of Chelmsford, Stephen Hauser of Milford, NH, Elizabeth Hauser of Pembroke Pines, FL, Douglas Hauser of Albuquerque, NM and Karen Hauser of Phoenix, AZ. Uncle and cousin of several. Visiting hours at the Blake Funeral Home, 24 Worthen St., CHELMSFORD on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Catherine's church, North Main St., Westford. Burial in West Chelmsford cemetery.4 |

Mona Strom... former teacher. WESTFORD — Mona Claire (St. Onge) Strom, 66, a lifelong resident of Westford, died yesterday at her home after a battle with cancer. She was the wife of John A. Strom; they celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary on July 24. She was born in Westford on Feb. 9, 1938, a daughter of the late George E. and Laura A. (Lavigne) St. Onge. She was also the stepdaughter of the late Jeanne (Fortier) St. Onge. She was educated in the Westford school system, graduating from Westford Academy Class of 1955. She also graduated from the former Lowell State Teacher’s College in 1959 with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She was a communicant of St. Catherine’s Church. Mrs. Strom spent several years teaching at the Nabnasset School in Westford before retiring to raise her children. She was later employed by the Purity Supreme Corporation for 10 years as a store manager in the pharmaceutical division. Most recently she was employed by the Westford Police Department as a school crossing guard at the former Cameron School in Forge Village. Besides her husband she is survived by three daughters and two sons-in-law, Patrice Strom, and Suzanne and John Leduc, all of Hudson, N.H., and Cynthia and David Currier of Middleton; six grandchildren, Michelle, Michael and Tracee Leduc and Kathryn, David and Dennis Currier; four brothers and their wives, Norman and Elizabeth St. Onge of Westford, K. Blair and Martha St. Onge of Texas, Robert and Lorraine St. Onge of Georgia and Peter and Elly St. Onge of California; a sister and her husband, Paulette and Richard Kalagher of Andover; also by many relatives and friends in the Greater Lowell area. She was the sister of the late George St. Onge Jr., Richard St. Onge and Jeanne Louise St. Onge.5 |

She leaves her husband, David P., a son, Patrick, and two daughters, Katherine Vacerelli and Elizabeth, all of Dennis; a brother, John A. Strom of Westford; a sister, Carla A. Strom of Tewksbury; and a granddaughter. A funeral Mass will be said at 9 a.m. tomorrow in St. Mary's Church in Chelmsford. Burial will be in West Chelmsford Cemetery..5 |
