PICKERING--Gertrude R. Pickering, 79, passed away Nov. 5, 1947, at Santa Ana, Cal. Widow of Edward Pickering, she is survived by two sons, H. E. Pickering of Palo Verdes Estate, and R. B. Pickering of Napa; a grandson and granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and First Congregational Church, Santa Ana, and Silver Spray Chapter, O. E. S. of Napa. Services Friday at 2 p. m. at the Winbigler Memorial Chapel, 609 North Main Street, Santa Ana. Interment, Fairhaven Cemetery, Santa Ana.3 |

STANLEY, Christine W. 7055 W. Stanley Rd., age 65, died Tuesday, August 17, 1971 at Krull Nursing Home. A memorial service for Mrs. Stanley will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 1971 at Rossell Funeral Home, Rev. John Teeuwissen officiating. Cremation at Flint Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Stanley was born in Portland, Michigan, January 19, 1906, the daughter of Lorenzo and Dora Webber. Surviving are: Husband, Robert H., Sr. of Lexington, Virginia; son, Robert H., Jr. of Flushing; 2 daughters, Mrs. Charles (Molly) Tate of Midland and Mrs. John (Betsy) Teeuwissen of Flint; 6 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Miss Charlotte Webber of Ann Arbor and Mrs. Constance West of Portland, Michigan.
